ENTTEC at IAAPA Expo Europe 2025: shaping the future of light!
Barcelona came alive this September as the global attractions industry gathered for IAAPA Expo Europe 2025, and ENTTEC was right in the middle of it all. With over 15,800 attendees from 121 countries, the event proved once again why it’s the place to be for anyone shaping unforgettable experiences in theme parks, attractions, and beyond.
For us, IAAPA is always more than just an exhibition. It’s a chance to connect with visionaries who see lighting not simply as illumination, but as an essential ingredient in creating atmosphere, immersion, and wonder. From roller coasters to observation wheels, ENTTEC’s control systems and pixel products have been behind the scenes of some of the world’s most spectacular projects, and Barcelona gave us the opportunity to share how we keep pushing boundaries.
On the show floor, our booth in Hall 1 became a hub for conversation and creativity. Visitors discovered the versatility of our SMART PXL LED dots, Neon Flex, and pixel strips, alongside powerful controllers like the Pixelator Mini Mk2, Octo, and S-Play show recorders, all tied together by our award-winning ENTTEC LED Mapper (ELM) software. From compact installs to vast attractions, our end-to-end solutions were on display, designed to give designers both precision and freedom.
Of course, expos are as much about people as they are about products. Our European General Manager Daniel Everett and Technical Sales Specialist Antoine McGowan welcomed a steady stream of industry leaders, operators, and designers eager to explore what’s possible. One highlight was reconnecting with partners behind previous projects that we’ve been involved with, such as giant Ferris wheels around the world that dazzle with ENTTEC’s pixel-mapped Smart PXL LED dots.
Beyond the booth, IAAPA delivered on its reputation as the heartbeat of the attractions industry: a record-breaking exhibition floor, inspiring educational sessions, and plenty of networking moments that reminded us why this industry is often called “the business of fun.” For ENTTEC, it was a week of inspiration, collaboration, and a renewed excitement about where creative lighting can take us next.
As the expo wrapped up, we left Barcelona energised and grateful for the conversations, the new partnerships, and the chance to showcase what makes ENTTEC unique: innovative tools that empower designers to shape light into something extraordinary.
